These are the typical conventions we identified of indie digipaks:
- they shows images of the band members in them
- they tend to show the list of tracks on the back
- they often have an ongoing theme running throughout the digipak e.g. a colour or image

- they often include similar images, fonts, and themes in the advert as in the digipak, as this means the audience can identify the band
- they often include an image of the band
